Welcome. The PLEIN AIR section of my website are oil paintings executed on location from start to finish. They capture the essence of a day, from open landscapes to dense urban scenes. The HOUSE PORTRAITS are of homes from around the country and are also done en plein air, although usually in multiple sessions. Attention is placed on the well defined subject and the day is generalized. FIGURATIVE are paintings and drawing of the human form from photos and live models.
